Two team members attended IEEE PGES Grid Edge event in San Diego, California. Resilient Link aims to bridge the gap and share data between critical systems operated by both utility companies and 9-1-1 systems, as well as DOT and other government agencies. We want to streamline notifications so that all parties are updated at the exact same time, instead of relying on slow methods like picking up a phone or sending an email.
Attendees at Grid Edge challenged, but ultimately validated our vision. We learned that this is a need. We learned that some are doing this right, such as the country of Singapore, giving us examples and targets to copy and to bring to US-based entities.
We couldn’t recommend Grid Edge more. Wayne Bishop and J.G. did amazing work between running innovation challenges, start up challenges, and putting on great panels and Super Sessions. The exhibit floor was where the action was. We met interested attendees from big names in utility companies, co-ops, consultants, and engineers.
Outside of that, we formed relationships with great startup peers who are pioneering technology such as Operant Networks, Banyon Power, Noteworthy AI, Flow Aluminum, Delphire, and more.
